Cooperation with international organizations

State service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the Ministry of Economy of Republic of Azerbaijan and both, institutions included within the structure and subordinated institutions are cooperates in the fields of: antitrust; unfair competition; public procurement; advertisement; standardization; metrology; technical regulation; conformity assessment; accreditation; quality management; consumer protection and control of the consumer market; determination of the country of origin of goods, with international organizations and countries to improve existing national legislation, as well as international treaties and agreements to which Azerbaijan is a party, and to develop new draft documents.

The existence of mutual and effective relations with international economic organizations and financial institutions plays a useful role in bringing the activities of the State Service on a regular basis in line with international standards. Among them are the CIS, GUAM, the European Accreditation Organization, the Organization for Accreditation Cooperation of International Laboratories (ILAC), the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), the European Standardization Committee (CEN), the General Conference on Weights and Measures (International Metrology Organization). ), International Legislative Metrology Organization (OIML), COOMET Regional Metrology Organization (Euro-Asian Cooperation Organization of State Metrology Institutions), CIS Interstate Council on Standardization, Metrology and Certification (IGC), Institute of Standardization, Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC) of the Organization of the Islamic Conference and other relations with organizations could be noted.
