A meeting was held with representatives of the Turkish Standards Institution (TSE) at the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the Ministry of Economy.
The head of the State Service, Mammad Abbasbeyli, informed about the activities of the institution and the reforms carried out in the priority areas. The head of the service spoke about the measures implemented within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding and the Action Plan signed between the Azerbaijan Standardization Institution (AZSTAND), a public legal entity and the Turkish Standards Institute, stated that AZSTAND has the right of official publication of more than 9 thousand National Standards of Türkiye in the country and emphasized the importance of cooperation with the Turkish Standards Institutution.
Chairman of the Turkish Standards Institution, Mahmud Sami Sahin, noted the importance of further expansion of effective relations and joint activities with the Azerbaijan Standardization Institute.
At the meeting, an agreement was reached on the organization of mutual visits in order to exchange experiences between the two organizations.
