In order to ensure more reliable protection of consumer rights and educate entrepreneurs about the mechanisms of consumer market control, the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the Ministry of Economy has started holding meetings with entrepreneurs operating in the region based on the analysis of consumer appeals. The first meeting was held in the city of Ganja with the participation of officials of the State Service and the organization of the 12th regional division.
Discussions were held on the most frequent violations of consumer rights in service enterprises. It was noted that determining the responsible persons and regulation in this field and increasing the effectiveness of the call centers are the main conditions for prompt response to consumer appeals. The meeting also emphasized the importance of applying state standards to ensure consumer satisfaction in this area due to the start of the tourism season.
Such meetings are planned to be organized continuously.
