The State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the Ministry of Economy held another seminar for the purpose of educating and informing the parties involved in public procurement. The training was organized for employees of the Ministry of Education.
Speaking at the opening of the event, Deputy Minister of Education Firudin Gurbanov emphasized the importance of optimal and proper organization of state purchases in order to ensure the efficient use of funds allocated from the budget. He noted that such trainings are important to increase the knowledge and skills of specialists working in the field of public procurement.
The Head of the State Service, Mammad Abbasbeyli, noted the benefit of the organized trainings for entrepreneurs and purchasing organizations. He reported that the training program was prioritized and prepared based on the analysis of the contests whose results were canceled in the field of public procurement and the applications received during the past year.
In the interactive training on the topic "Organization of public procurement: ensuring competitiveness and efficiency", information was provided on the planning, organization and methods of public procurement, requirements for bidders' qualifications, evaluation and comparison of tender offers. In addition, the results of the purchase, conclusion and management of the purchase contract were discussed with the participants of the event.
At the seminar attended by about 200 representatives of the Ministry, opinions were exchanged between purchasing organizations regarding the resolution of controversial issues, and the questions of the participants were answered.
