An agreement on cooperation in the field of standardization was signed between "Azerbaijan Institute of Standardization" (AzStand) subordinate to the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the Ministry of Economy and “Kazakhstan Institute of Standardization and Metrology” (KazStandart).
According to the agreement, the national standardization bodies of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan have the right to mutually accept, apply and translate the state standards of these countries, organize the distribution of their official publications and allow their application.
It should be noted that the document was signed within the framework of the economic and trade mission and joint business forum of commodity producers of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the Republic of Azerbaijan.
