As is known, starting from this year, the price of flour produced from imported food grains by businesses in the domestic market has been adjusted to the current price of food wheat on the world market. As a result, there is a change in the prices of flour and traditional (round) bread.

In this regard, the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the Ministry of Economy has further strengthened control measures. In this way, the State Service organized meetings with grain importers, as well as flour and bread producers as part of preventive measures and warned about the inadmissibility of abuse of the situation.

It should be noted that in order to prevent unjustified changes in the price and weight of flour and traditional (round) bread and control the quality parameters, regular monitoring is carried out in the consumer market, necessary measures are taken to comply with antitrust law. In case of signs of violation of the legislation during the monitoring, the State Service will take serious measures.
