An educational meeting was held with representatives of accredited inspection bodies to provide information on the use of the Quality Information System, relevant legislative requirements, and measures implemented in this area.

The meeting was organized by the State Agency for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Representatives of 13 accredited inspection bodies engaged in inspection activities participated in the meeting.

During the event, Elmeddin Guluyev, Head of the Department of Standardization, Technical Regulation and Certification at the State Agency, noted that, pursuant to recent amendments to the legislation, the conformity assessment activities of accredited conformity assessment bodies, including the results of inspection activities carried out by inspection bodies, must be documented through the Quality Information System (E-keyfiyyet.gov.az).

The meeting continued with a presentation by Nariman Kamalli, an official of the State Agency, on the procedures for preparing and formalizing documents through the information system, as well as analytical data and statistical indicators related to the activities of conformity assessment bodies.

The participants were also informed about the functionality of the E-keyfiyyet.gov.az system, which enables inspection bodies to issue reports authenticated using ASAN İmza or digital signatures and provides an opportunity to verify the authenticity of documents in real time using QR codes. The importance of using the information system to ensure compliance with accreditation legislation and improve the quality of services was emphasized.

The meeting concluded with an exchange of views on feedback and proposals from the participating inspection bodies, followed by a Q&A session addressing participants’ questions.
