From 1 January 2026, business entities engaged in export activities will be required to submit applications for certificates of origin exclusively through the Quality Information System (e-keyfiyyet.gov.az).

The State Agency for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan informs business entities engaged in export activities that, from 1 January 2026, applications for certificates of origin will be accepted exclusively through the Quality Information System (e-keyfiyyet.gov.az).

Since August this year, awareness-raising meetings on the use of the “Certificate of Origin” submodule have been held in Baku and the regions with more than 300 business entities engaged in export activities. As a result, 83% of all certificates of origin issued have been processed through the Quality Information System.

To help entrepreneurs use the Quality Information System, a video tutorial on the “Certificate of Origin” submodule has also been posted on the Agency’s official YouTube channel. It can also be accessed through the “Apply for Certificates of Origin” subsection of the “Electronic Services” section of the e-keyfiyyet.gov.az information system.

At present, applications for certificates of origin are submitted in a hybrid format, both through the Quality Information System (e-keyfiyyet.gov.az) and through the official website of the Ministry of Economy of the Republic of Azerbaijan (economy.gov.az).
