A Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of competition was signed between the Ministry of Economy and the Federal Antimonopoly Service of the Russian Federation within the framework of the visit of the delegation of the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the Ministry of Economy to Belarus.

The document was signed by the head of the State Service, Mammad Abbasbeyli, and the head of the Federal Antimonopoly Service of the Russian Federation, Maxim Shaskolsky. Development of cooperation in the field of competition, exchange of experience and other issues were reflected in the memorandum.

Representatives of the State Service also participated in the 53rd meeting of the Interstate Council on Antimonopoly Policy. At the event, the representative of the State Service, Jafar Babayev, made a presentation on "Legal-practical practices in the field of unfair competition".
