The meeting focused on the safety requirements set out in the “Technical Regulation on the Safety of Gas Appliances and Equipment” and relevant conformity assessment procedures.
An educational meeting was held by the State Agency for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan with representatives of laboratories responsible for conducting tests required for the issuance of certificates and declarations of conformity under the “Technical Regulation on the Safety of Gas Appliances and Equipment.”
During the meeting, Elmeddin Guluyev, Head of the Department of Standardization, Technical Regulation and Certification at the State Agency, highlighted the measures taken to strengthen the technical regulation system and provided information on recent developments in its implementation mechanisms.
Participants were also provided with detailed information on the application of the “Technical Regulation on the Safety of Gas Appliances and Equipment,” including specific safety requirements and conformity assessment procedures.
The meeting continued in an interactive format, with participants exchanging views on relevant issues, and concluded with a Q&A session addressing their questions.
