Representatives of the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the Ministry of Economy and its subordinate "Azerbaijan Accreditation Center" (AzAK) visited the Turkish Accreditation Agency (TürkAK) on a business trip.
During the visit, the delegation got acquainted with the activities of TürkAK and discussed the development directions of cooperation between the accreditation bodies of the two countries.
Banu Müderrisoğlu, Secretary General of TürkAK, spoke about the work done within the framework of the agreement signed between the two institutions, the steps to be taken towards the membership of AzAK to prestigious international organizations, and noted that TürkAK will provide all kinds of support in this matter.
The representative of the State Service, Yavar Mammadov, noted the importance of cooperation between Azerbaijan and Turkey in the field of accreditation regarding conformity assessment and emphasized the support of the Accreditation Agency of Turkey to AzAK.
Emin Zeynalov, who is acting director of AzAK, informed about the improvement of the activity of the institution he leads and the strategic goals ahead.
In the end, the delegation was presented with a number of international certificates on ISO standards by the management of TürkAK.
