The State Service has joined the training process of future judges

At the initiative of the State Service for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the Ministry of Economy, the topic "Mechanisms for the protection of consumer rights" was included in the curriculum of candidates for judges.

The first online lecture on this topic was held by the representatives of the State Service in the program of the initial long-term training course for candidates for judges, organized by the Academy of Justice of the Ministry of Justice.

During the training, the candidates were informed about the activities of the Service, the concept of the consumer, the basic rights and responsibilities of consumers. At the same time, issues related to consumer rights in cases of defective goods or services, measures of responsibility for violation of consumer rights, protection of consumer rights by relevant administrative bodies and the limits of judicial protection of consumer rights were brought to the attention of candidates.

Candidates also discussed and answered questions concerning existing experiences in the field of consumer protection and court decisions.
