The meeting provided representatives of accredited inspection bodies with information on the services available through the Quality Information System (e-keyfiyyet.gov.az), procedures for using the system, and relevant legislative requirements.
An educational meeting on services provided through the Quality Information System (e-keyfiyyet.gov.az) was held by the State Agency for Antimonopoly and Consumer Market Control under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, with representatives of 30 accredited conformity assessment bodies engaged in inspection activities in attendance.
During the meeting, Elmeddin Guluyev, Head of the Department of Standardization, Technical Regulation and Certification at the State Agency, provided information on recent amendments to the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On Accreditation in the Field of Conformity Assessment.” It was noted that conformity assessment activities carried out by accredited conformity assessment bodies, including the preparation and formalization of inspection reports by inspection bodies, must be conducted through the Quality Information System (e-keyfiyyet.gov.az).
Bahruz Bakhshaliyev, Head of a Division within the Department of Standardization, Technical Regulation and Certification, delivered a presentation covering documents generated and formalized through the information system, entities engaged in conformity assessment activities, and statistical data on measures implemented by the State Agency in this area.
Participants were also informed about the benefits of inspection bodies preparing electronic inspection reports for their clients using ASAN İmza or electronic signatures, as well as the functionality enabling the authenticity of documents to be verified promptly using QR codes. It was emphasized that further digitalization of conformity assessment processes will contribute to ensuring compliance with legislative requirements, reducing operational risks, and enhancing the sustainability and efficiency of services.
The meeting concluded with an exchange of views on proposals for improving the information system, followed by a Q&A session addressing participants’ questions.
